Women in Medicine Brisbane 2025

The 2025 International Women’s Day theme, and our Women in Medicine theme, is #AcceleratedAction for gender equality.

At this year’s breakfast, we’ll celebrate women supporting fellow women and our allies as we work together towards gender equality. Keynote speaker AMA Queensland Vice President Dr Emilia Dauway will host speakers who will share their experiences in a panel discussion:

• What are the most meaningful ways we can support each other and create space for more women at the table?
• What role does allyship play in advancing gender equality?
• What barriers have you observed in leadership and how can we better support women to overcome them?
• If we are to make real progress in the next five years, where should we be focusing our efforts?
