Doctor’s health: what GPs need to know (webinar)

Jun 29, 2020 | Past Education Sessions

Recent times have created a heightened awareness of our personal health vulnerabilities. Doctors are not immune to these reflections. When we have patients to care for, prioritising our own health can be difficult. How should we support the health of our practice team? We know we all need our own GP, but that means that our colleagues need a GP too! How easy is it to be a doctor-patient, or to be a doctor’s doctor? This presentation steps beyond a list of self-care messages and confronts the cultural realities that impact upon our wellness and our pathways to care.

Audience: General Practitioners
Guest speakers: Dr Margaret Kay, Medical Director of the Queensland Doctors’ Health Program and Dr Anne Ulcoq, President of the Doctors’ Health Advisory Service Queensland
